I depend on my Smartphone in my daily life and ithas made my life a lot easier because all the information and apps I need forwork and social life are in my Smart phone. For example, I don’t use an alarm clock in the morning because there’s an app for that in my phone. Once I leavemy apartment, I use the GPS in my phone to navigate the route with the leasttraffic to my office. If I’m stuck in the traffic，I can start checking for important emails from clients or colleagues in my car oreven make some phone calls to get some problems solved before I’m actually in the office. After work, I use instant messengers on my phone to connect with friends. Without my Smart phone, everything in life would be time consuming and complicated.
2. Which of the following groups would you like to join? Campus newspaper, hiking club or dorm improvement committee.
Without a doubt, I would like to join hiking club. There are several reasons for it. First and most important one is I am a big fan of nature. It offers a great opportunity for me to get close to nature, enjoying the sunshine, breathing fresh air aswell as listening to birds’ singing. Besides, in this club, I am able to make some friends who have much in common with me. It will be great to go hiking with some people regularly. You won’t feel bored while hiking. You could also encourage each other when having difficulty going to the top. Furthermore,hiking is beneficial to my health. it could also give me a sense of achievement after I reach the top of a mountain.
3. What is the most popular website that people in your country like to visit? Explain why it is popular.
Without a doubt, the most popular website would be taobao.com. It is the biggest e-commerce websitein the world. It is like Chinese version of Amazon. Online shopping has gained its popularity among young people in China. Girls are crazy about this website,since there are a wide range of products. Basically, you could buy whatever youwant. Besides, it is quite time-saving. The only thing people need to do is to click the mouse. Everything they buy online will be delivered to their doorstep. Furthermore, the price of products is much more reasonable than stores. Last but not least, it is also a social networking web. People could make friends with those people who have much in common with them.
4. Where do you want to live? A place near school, home or bus/subway station?
Without a doubt, I would like to live near subway station. There are several reasons for it. First of all, it is easier for me to arrange my time. I am a well-organized person who will make plans for everything in advance. When I want to go to somewhere, the amount of time Ineed to spend on the way will be measurable, which is comforting for a punctual person like me. In addition, subway always arrives on time. You don’t need to waste time waiting for a cab for over half an hour. Last but not least,restaurants, cinemas as well as shopping malls are usually built along the subway, which means I can have access to various activities.

Personally, I think computers have the most important impact on people's lives in China . That mainly because it makes our study, workas well as the social life more convenient than before. Take the study for instance, I used to write all my papers by hands, and it'll take me at least um two hours to finish just one paper and now with the computer, and with thesoftware like Office, Words and Excel, it's so easy for me to type all the materials and the content into the computer and send it to the professors by emails.
