　　1　誰(shuí)可以申請(qǐng)畢業(yè)工簽?

　　To obtain a work permit after yourgraduation, you must meet the following requirements:

　　You must have continuously studied full time in Canada and you must have completed a program of study that lasted at least eight months.

　　In addition, you must have graduated from:

　　a public post-secondary institution, such as a college, trade/technical school, university or CEGEP (in Quebec), or

　　a private post-secondary institution that operates under the same rules and regulations as public institutions, or

　　a private secondary or post-secondary institution (in Quebec) offering qualifying programs of 900 hours or longer leading to a dipl?me d’études professionnelles (DEP) or an attestation de spécialisation professionnelle (ASP), or

　　a Canadian private institution authorized by provincial statute to confer degrees but only if you are enrolled in one of the programs of study leading to a degree as authorized by the province and not in all programs of study offered by the private institution.

　　申請(qǐng)人在加拿大的學(xué)習(xí)期間，若非特殊原因，必須是連續(xù)全職的注冊(cè)的學(xué)生，且

　　申請(qǐng)人的就讀機(jī)構(gòu)和學(xué)習(xí)項(xiàng)目必須滿足以下要求：

　　- 公校專上(Post-secondary)學(xué)歷的學(xué)習(xí)項(xiàng)目

　　- 與公校同等機(jī)制運(yùn)營(yíng)的私校的學(xué)習(xí)項(xiàng)目

　　- 各省省政府批準(zhǔn)可以頒發(fā)學(xué)位的私校學(xué)位項(xiàng)目

　　2  什么時(shí)候遞交申請(qǐng)?

　　You must apply for a work permit within 90 days of receiving written confirmation(for example, a tran or an official letter) from your institution indicating that you have met the requirements for completing your academic program.

　　You must have completed and passed the program of study and received a notification that you are eligible to obtain your degree, diploma or certificate.

　　You must have a valid study permit when you apply for the work permit.

　　畢業(yè)工簽的申請(qǐng)必須在畢業(yè)的90天之內(nèi)遞交

　　90天從畢業(yè)信或成績(jī)單上Degree Granted/Program Completion的日期算起

　　畢業(yè)工簽可以延簽嗎?

　　不能，畢業(yè)工簽一輩子只能拿一次;如果需要延簽，可根據(jù)情況申請(qǐng)如普通工簽，橋接工簽(Bridge Open Wokr Permit)，配偶工簽(Spousal Open Work Permit)等其他類別的工作簽證。例如，畢業(yè)后申請(qǐng)了畢業(yè)工簽，三年之后又開始讀書，那么在第二次學(xué)校畢業(yè)之后， 是無(wú)法再申請(qǐng)畢業(yè)工簽的。

　　申請(qǐng)畢業(yè)工簽的時(shí)候必須持有有效學(xué)簽，如學(xué)簽在畢業(yè)之前過(guò)期，那么就要提前申請(qǐng)橋接學(xué)簽(Briding Study Permit)。

　　3 畢業(yè)工簽可以拿多久?

　　Impact of length of the studies in Canada and the length of the work permit

　　A Post-Graduation Work Permit cannot be valid longer than the length of your studies in Canada.

　　If the official length of your program of study is:

　　? Less than eight months,

　　you are not eligible for this program

　　? Less than two years but more than eight months,

　　you may get a work permit for a period no longer than the length of your program of study (for example, if you studied for nine months, a work permit may be issued for a period of nine months)

　　? Two years or more,

　　a work permit may be issued for three years

　　畢業(yè)工簽長(zhǎng)度根據(jù)學(xué)習(xí)項(xiàng)目而定：

　　學(xué)習(xí)時(shí)長(zhǎng)小于兩年，大于八個(gè)月，工簽時(shí)間長(zhǎng)度=學(xué)習(xí)月份長(zhǎng)度

　　學(xué)習(xí)時(shí)長(zhǎng)大于2年，可以拿到3年的畢業(yè)工簽

　　注意：2年的學(xué)習(xí)時(shí)長(zhǎng)指的是:

　　2 Academic Year = 4 Academic Semesters = 16 months

　　4 等待畢業(yè)工簽期間可以工作嗎?

　　Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (SOR/2002-227)

　　186 A foreign national may work in Canada without a work permit

　　(w) if they are or were the holder of a study permit who has completed their program of study and

　　(i) they met the requirements set out in paragraph (v), and

　　(ii) they applied for a work permit before the expiry of that study permit and a decision has not yet been made in respect of their application.

　　5 等待期間是否可以出境?

　　I’m waiting for my post-graduation work permit. Can I travel outside Canada and come back with my student visa?

　　Yes, you can leave Canada and return, as long as your visa or Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) is still valid.

　　If your visa or eTA is expired, you will have to apply for and receive a new one before you leave.

　　When you return to Canada:

　　You may enter as student if your study permit is still valid.

　　If we approved your post-graduation work permit while you were away, you may enter as a worker.

　　If we are still processing your post-graduation work permit, you may enter as a visitor. You can’t work until you get your post-graduation work permit.The officer at the port of entry may ask you to prove you have enough money to support yourself in Canada.

　　You have the option to re- apply for a new work permit, and pay the fees, at the port of entry if you meet all other applicable entry requirements. Once you are in Canada, you can use this web form to withdraw your previous application.

　　A border officer will have some questions for you when you arrive back in Canada. If the officer believes there is reason to refuse your re-entry, you will not be able to re-enter Canada.

　　The officer at the port of entry may ask you for a copy of your extension application, the fee payment receipt, and any other document to prove you applied for an extension.
